Zen Sort is a single-player puzzle game for personal, non-commercial entertainment. By downloading or using it you accept these terms and the platform terms of Apple or Google. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Zen Sort on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the app or its content — artwork, level designs, audio, or code — except where the law expressly permits it. You also agree not to circumvent purchases or ad-based rewards, or to interact with the app using automated tools.
Zen Sort is free to play, and every one of its 3,000 levels is playable without spending anything. Optional purchases are cosmetic or convenience items that never gate a puzzle:
All purchases are one-time and permanent — there is no subscription and nothing renews. They are billed by the App Store or Google Play under their terms; your payment details never reach our systems. Refunds are handled by the stores under their own refund policies and we cannot issue them directly. Use Restore purchases in Settings to recover what you bought on a new device signed into the same store account. Purchases unlock features on-device through an anonymous entitlement — no account is created.
Free players may see optional rewarded video ads only. You are never forced to watch an ad to keep playing, there are no interstitials or banners, and undo is always free. You may choose to watch one in exchange for a hint or an extra vessel. Ad content comes from Google AdMob and is neither created nor endorsed by us. See the Privacy Policy for what that involves.
Your progress is stored only on your device. We run no accounts and no cloud saves. That means uninstalling the app or resetting the device permanently deletes your progress, we cannot recover it, and progress does not transfer between devices or between platforms. Purchases can be restored, because the store keeps that receipt — game progress cannot.
The Daily Calm puzzle is free and the same for everyone. We may update, add to, or rebalance content — levels, difficulty, features — in app updates, and we may discontinue the app or any feature with reasonable notice. The app plays fully offline; only store-dependent features (purchases and ads) need connectivity. We aim to keep everything working but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Zen Sort uses the Quicksand typeface by Andrew Paglinawan, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. All other artwork, audio, and level content is our own.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumers keep all mandatory statutory rights.
We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app.
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app's release notes and reflected in the effective date above. Continued use after an update is acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the publisher's country of residence, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your own country.
