Zen Sort has no account and no login. We never ask for your name, email, or contacts, and we do not sell your data. Your game progress lives on your device and nowhere else. Four third-party services are involved — Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, and RevenueCat — and this page spells out exactly what each one receives.
We do not collect, store, or transmit: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, precise location, health or fitness data, browsing history, or any user-generated content. The app has no accounts, no login, no chat, no leaderboards, and no social features. It never uses your microphone or camera — every sound in the game is either synthesised on the fly or bundled with the app.
The following is written to local storage on your phone and never sent anywhere:
It leaves your device only as part of your own standard device backup (iCloud or Google backup), which you control through your platform account, not through us. Deleting the app permanently erases all of it. We hold no copy and cannot restore it.
To understand which parts of the game people enjoy, the app sends a small set of anonymous gameplay events. This is the complete list — there are no others:

None of these parameters is, or is derived from, a personal identifier. Alongside them Firebase collects standard device and app information — device model, OS version, app version, coarse country inferred from IP — and an app-instance identifier that is reset if you reinstall. If the app crashes or hits an internal error, Crashlytics sends a technical report — the stack trace, your device model and OS version, the app version, and an install-scoped identifier that is not your name and not your advertising ID. It is used solely to find and fix bugs, and is governed by the same Firebase privacy documentation.
Zen Sort shows optional rewarded video ads only. There are no interstitials, no banners, and no forced ads anywhere in the game. You see an ad solely because you chose to watch one in exchange for a hint or an extra vessel, and if no ad is available the option simply disappears. Undo is always free and never behind an ad.
Ads are requested as non-personalised, with a maximum content rating of G. Because of that, the app performs no cross-app or cross-site tracking and does not show the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt.
To serve and measure a rewarded ad, Google may process: device identifiers (IDFV on iOS; the advertising ID on Android, as permitted by your device settings), your IP address — which can imply a coarse location — device and app metadata, and ad-interaction events. Advertising IDs are used for frequency capping and fraud prevention rather than for building a profile of you. This processing is governed by Google's privacy policy and AdMob's data disclosures.
You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time — on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and on Android under Settings → Google → Ads.
Payments are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details. To activate purchases and restore them on a new device, our purchase-management provider RevenueCat processes: an anonymous app-user ID generated randomly on your device, purchase receipts and tokens, product IDs, and purchase timestamps. That is used only to give you what you bought. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
The optional Daily Calm reminder is a local notification scheduled on your own device at the time you pick. It requires your permission, can be switched off at any time in the app's Settings or in system settings, and involves no server and no data transmission whatsoever.
Zen Sort is a gentle puzzle game suitable for general audiences, with no violence, no gambling or simulated gambling, and no mature themes. It is not directed at children under 13. Ads are restricted to G-rated content and are non-personalised. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — there is nothing in the app capable of submitting it. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Because we hold no personal data about you on any server of ours, most requests are satisfied on your own device: deleting the app erases all game data, and resetting your advertising identifier clears the only ad-related handle. For data processed by our providers you can contact them directly using the links above, or email us and we will help route your request — access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. For EU and UK users, our legal basis is legitimate interest in keeping the app stable and understanding aggregate usage (crash reporting and anonymous analytics), and contract performance for purchases. Since ads are non-personalised, no advertising consent flow is required; if that ever changes, we will add one before any personalised ad is requested.
Locally stored game data persists until you delete the app. We retain nothing on our own servers because we operate none. Our providers retain data according to their own published schedules — Crashlytics reports, for example, are retained by Firebase for 90 days. These providers operate globally, so data they process may be handled outside your country, including in the United States, under their standard contractual safeguards.
If our data practices change — for example if we ever add accounts, cloud saves, or personalised advertising — we will update this page and the effective date above, and material changes will be flagged in the app's release notes before they take effect.
